Cookie Policy

1. What is a cookie

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site recognize your browser or measure how it's used.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

Set by Supabase to keep you signed in, and by Menolys to remember your cookie choice (menolys_ads). They are required for the service to work and don't need your consent.

3. How you found us (local storage)

When you arrive through one of our links, we keep the link's labels (for example "instagram" and the post name) in your browser's local storage (menolys.source.v1) for up to 30 days, and save them with your account if you sign up. This tells us which posts help women find Menolys. It contains no health information and is never shared with advertisers. You can clear it in your browser settings.

4. Advertising measurement cookies (Meta)

The Meta Pixel sets cookies (_fbp, _fbc) to measure how well our ads work and to recognize you from one visit to the next. They are not strictly necessary, so they are only set if you accept them. When you accept, we may also tell Meta from our server that a sign-up or purchase happened — never your health information.

5. Managing your choices

A banner asks for your choice on your first visit: the Meta Pixel only loads, and its cookies are only set, if you click "Accept." If you click "Decline," no advertising cookie is set and no advertising event is sent. You can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

6. How long they last

Session cookies expire when you sign out. Meta advertising cookies last up to 13 months. Your cookie choice is remembered for 12 months.
